CRK Learning opens for business today. My goal is to be a world-class learning, education and talent development firm known for providing evidence-based advice that helps organizations link learning to strategic goals and improve workforce performance.
My core values are:
- Be proactive enough to consistently get stuff done. My approach to projects is to constantly drive forward. The Project Management Institute defines a project as “a temporary group activity designed to produce a unique product, service or result.” And temporary means “it has a defined beginning and end in time.” Projects are meant to be completed, and it’s my belief there is always something that can get done. Find it, do it, move on to the next item.
- Be enough of an expert to know when you aren’t an expert. I have told many students over the years that none of us are as smart as all of us, and that we can all learn something from each other. I bring that same collaborative approach to my projects. Access to the right knowledge or experience is critical for success. My focus on positive outcomes means that I do not bring any ego to the table, and I am not afraid to tap into my network to find that right resource.
- Learn, grow, be bold. There is always something else to learn. There is always something to improve. Go do it, don’t wait. Fortis Fortuna adiuvat.
How can I help you achieve your learning goals?
